"Slayer" by Kiersten White
"Slayer" was an okay book. It would have been better if it was just a book and not based on Buffyverse. Bringing up the characters of Buffy made me miss the show too much. It did have a good storyline though. Nina is the main character and she has a twin sister who are raised by their Watcher parents. Nina is a healer but her sister is being trained to be helping the Slayers. They have hate for Buffy because their dad died being a watcher for Buffy. When Nina realizes one day she has superhuman strength and is becoming one of the type of people she has started hating, a slayer. Her crush becomes her Watcher and she also finds out not all demons and monsters are bad. It was good but made me miss Buffy, my favorite show ever.
