"Summer of Fear" by Lois Duncan

                          "Summer of Fear" is another scary, suspenseful 

book by Lois Duncan that even as an adult you would enjoy

reading. I found these books in seventh grade when I first 

wanted  to find something different from my childhood books  

that I always read. Now I would describe her as Stephen King 

for jr high kids. I still love the books and would recommend 

them to anyone. "Summer of Fear" is about Rachel whose 

cousin comes to stay with her and there is something that just  

does not add up about Julia and she just can not figure it out. 

No one believes her because everyone seems to love Julia but   

Rachel, who sees something odd and sinister about her when she 

sees her her doing creepy things.
