"Callie" by bill Thompson

                              "Callie" by Bill Thompson 

reminds me so much of a Darcy Coates book 

 that I am glad I read it. Callie is the main 

character in the book who inherits the house 

while she is broke in the usual Coates way. The 

house is haunted by a Civil War girl who Callie 

later finds out about. There is a corrupt lawyer 

who wants her property and will do anything to 

get it. Callie runs in to an old high school friend 

who helps her keep her property. This was 

another good haunted house book. I love these 

kinds of stories so much so I would recommend 

this to anyone.
