"Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allen Poe

                    I remember reading "Masque of the

  Red Death in high school and always thought

the story was so scary. I have always been a big 

Poe fan so this story was really good. I own a few

of his books. Its about Prince Prospero trying to

hide from a plague, along with other royalty. 

As they are hiding they decide to have a 

masquerade ball but a mysterious stranger 

joins the ball and bad things begin to happen. 

This is one of Poe's greatest stories and should

definitely be read at Halloween time.
