"The Haunting of Blackwood House" by Darci Coates

                   "The Haunting of Blackwood House" is another 

haunted house book that makes you wonder if there is a ghost in 

your home with each little noise you hear. It is about Mara, 

whose parents were spiritualists so she does not believe in ghosts

until her and her fiance buy a house and weird stuff starts 

happening. As the doors start opening, voices are heard at   

night, bloody handprints on the walls and cold spots in the  

house they start to wonder what is going on. Since Mara does  

not believe in ghosts and the house is a good deal she will not   

believe it is haunted even if the proof is right in front of her. 

I don't know what it is about Dari Coates' haunted house books

but they are so much fun and just scary enough to make you look

over your shoulder but not terrify you. This is another fun book

to read this halloween season.
