"The Folcroft Ghosts" by Darcy Coates

                       "The Folcroft Ghosts" by Darcy Coates again, is

 another scary book that is also a fun read.  When Tara and Kyle

have to stay with their grandparents after their parents are

hospitalized in an accident the house they are staying at is creepy

and has weird things happen. There is a bedroom door that is 

locked and no one can go in, doors slam shut, the curtains are

always moving, and there is weird whispering about a drowned

sister. After a bad storm  keeps them from having any contact

with the outside world they realize their grandparents keep

acting really weird and they can not understand why. It is up to

them to keep themselves safe from whatever is in the house and 

possibly their grandparents. Each day they are closer to 

figuring out the secret of the house and why their grandparents

are acting the way they are. This was another great read and at

times it gave me a Hansel and Gretel vibe because they were in 

the woods in a cottage type manor and it seemed that their

grandparents had ulterior motives for them being there.  This

was a fun fall read and definitely read it this time of year.
