"Paper Valentine" by Brenna Yovanoff
I just finished "Paper Valentine" and it was definitely a book that kept you interested
through the whole thing. It was about a high school girl named Hannah who has her best friend's
ghost haunting her after she passed away six months before of anorexia. After jr high girls
start being murdered in their town Hannah and her best friend Lillian start finding clues to who is doing
it. She also meets a guy who the town does not like but she falls in love with. It goes in all directions and
it is never fully obvious who the killer is even though at times you think you might know. The part I like
best is it is part ghost story, part romance, part friendship and part murder mystery. This book could be
in any genre and I love this about this book. It was one of those books I could not stop reading and even
missed some sleep reading. I really love Hannah's character and actually all the characters in the book
are fleshed out and character development is important to me in a book. I would recommend this to
anyone who loves a good ghost story or mystery.
