"Locked In Time" by Lois Duncan

                    In jr high Lois Duncan was one of my favorite 

authors  and "Locked In Time" was one of the first books I ever 

read of hers. She is like  Stephen King for jr high kids and I 

believe her writing is so good that you could probably read one 

of her books and like it as an adult.  It is about Nore Roberts, 

who, after her  mother passes, her dad falls in love and marries 

another woman. It is such a big change for her to have a new 

mom and step siblings that when things start to not add up  

about this new family people do not believe her, thinking she is 

just not used to them in her life. They do have secrets they have 

kept hidden and it is up to Nore to find out what they are. This  

is very suspenseful and fun book for being for jr high kids.
