"Bag of Bones" by Stephen King
"Bag of Bones" is another book I really love by Stephen
King. Is is about Mike Noonan who lost his wife when she died
from an aneurysm while in a pharmacy parking lot. To write
again and to deal with his grief he decides to spend the summer
at their lake home. He keeps having nightmares about the place
but still decides to stay there. The summer house is called Sara
Laughs and seems to have a mind of its own. There are so many
creepy things that happens while he stays there and he wants to
find out who or what is haunting his home. He also meets a
younger woman he begins having feelings for and she has a
crazy ex-in-law who has it out for her and the town. He has so
much going on between helping out the widowed mom of a
three year old whose ex-in-laws want custody of her child and
will do anything to get it and the house that plagues his dreams
and has scary stuff happen at all hours. Who is the ghost that
haunts his beloved home? This is definitely a little different from
King's other books but just as scary. I definitely recommend this
book if you love Stephen King or if you love haunted house
books but want one that is a little different. It had me hooked
from the beginning.
